The Future is Bright

Tons of things are going to be happening at Gamer Adventures! We've got a new cruise video, a newsletter, a survey for our next trip and even some land-lubber adventures. All the new things will be up by the end of the week, so please check back and see our little overhaul. Thanks for your patience with my technical learning curve! Kim

Gamer Adventures is in the Top 30 Themed Cruises

Travel Agent Magazine has listed Gamer Adventures in it top 30 niche cruises in the USA! How cool is that!

"Gaming Cruises (#15) might constitute casino play or board games. Kimberly Maita, an agent from Sacramento, CA, developed Gamer Adventures for board game players. Maita’s third annual Caribbean Gamer Cruise sails March 28 from Miami on Carnival Glory."

Since they were doing a count down, can we say we were in the top 15???

RPG/Mexican Riviera Cruise Jan 2010

What a great time we had with our first Board Game/RPG combo Cruise! Dave Panec from Sacramento, California, came along and ran some Cthuthlu and D&D, not to mention we did some serious board gaming between stops on the Riviera. Snorkeling, horsebackriding, tequila tasting (and buying) are only a few thing that we did besides gaming! Some of the ladies and the Carnival Spa became very very close friends. If you'd like a more detailed accounting of our cruise... one of our cruisers posted this exerpt on a forum. http://www.ironcrown.com/ICEforums/index.php?topic=9505.0
And yes, we're doing it again! Next Jan from New Orleans....bring your alter-ego and get on board.

Back Out to The Caribbean!

It's been a crazy year! Yes YEAR since I posted on this blog. Let's see... we've done Strategicon, Origins, GenCon (driving to and from CA), we did Las Vegas in September, New Orleans in October, Christmas/New Years and out on the RPG cruise in January. Went to Chicago, and now have just returned from another GTS with just 24 hours to spare to get on another plane to Miami to get on the next Gamer Adventure to the Caribbean..... No excuses but "Time sure does fly".... I'll be back in a week and will be updating much more frequently.......Kim
