GAMA Trade Show - VEGAS BABY!!!!!
What a show! We had a great time and loaded up on more great games for our future cruises. I wanted to send out a special thank you to all of the companies that donated games to play on the cruises.... as always their generosity never fails to amaze me. I think that I may have even talked many of the companies into joining us in 2010! This is going to be a wonderful year and I'm especially excited to get to Origins and GenCon this year... Look for updates on the booth numbers and special events...... Kim

Board Game Cruise 2009!
We just returned from our 3rd Annual board game cruise to the caribbean! It was amazing fun and we had many special guests. Larry Roznai, President of Mayfair Games joined us to run a Settlers of Catan Tournament, Don Dehm from the Pulp Gamer Podcast recorded from the game room as did Dan Repperger from the Fear the Boot podcast. You can hear all our comments and laughter by clicking the link to the right!
I want to thank everyone who attended and hope to see all of you on another Gamer Adventure soon. Pictures to follow!

Game in the Gulf: A Magical Cruise
Unbelievable fun and an incredible group of players. The Game in the Gulf was a blast! We had great Magic gaming, a really fun time in ports (what happens in Cozumel, stays in Cozumel), informative lectures by Magic experts and a cocktail party on the last night of the cruise that can only be expressed in pictures! It was my personal favorite PTQ (Pro Tequila Qualifier). There were SEVERAL winners. A definate yearly event for Gamer Adventures!
My photos concentrate on the dinners and the cocktail party but please check out the video by Evan Erwin about the Magic the Gathering lectures, winners and players. Fun testimonials and new cruiser discoveries. We even had two couples become engaged. Congratulations!
Thanks to everyone who came and participated. Looking forward to seeing you on board next year.

Gen Con 2008
Just a little ditty about Gen Con 2008 - It was awesome! We not only had a great time talking with all the convention attendees but also made some great contacts with companies and old friends. Larry Roznai of Mayfair games is coming along on our March Caribbean Gamer Cruise and sponsoring a Settlers of Catan Qualifier Tournament! The winner get a full paid trip to Gen Con 09 and a seat at the tournament at Gen Con. We can't wait to play on the ship and our spots are filling up fast. In addition, Wizards of the Coast is watching our February Game in the Gulf: a Magical Cruise very closely. They gave us permission to have a PTQ on board and Gamer Adventures is proud to have partnered with Legion Events to run one of the most amazing Magic the Gathering venues ever. More news and info to follow on our upcoming cruises.

GAMA Trade Show - Vegas, Baby!!!
I have just returned from the GAMA Trade Show in Las Vegas and have to say that the folks at GAMA did a great job with the exhibitor room, the classes, the venue and the just plain fun. The exhibitors were amazing and so incredibly generous about donating games and other perks and swag to my cruises. On the last day of the show, I was walking around with a little luggage-type metal carrier collecting all of the contributions and it was so funny. A little metal rig with ONE bungie cord as I was trying to not only stack the games in a logical fashion but get it all out to my car. I looked like some kind of insane Santa. People were actually questioning the structural integrity of my cart! Once again this community has made me realize that we are all part of a really, really incredible group of people. Logo's and links to all of these amazing companies and individuals will be up on the site as they send me their logos. Thank you so much........
